Engineering is Everywhere
Imagine you are living in the BC’s some 2000 years ago…
Imagine your day-to-day activities in that era…
Imagine a World without TECHNOLOGY…
First of all, sit back and spend some time to do the above task.
So, if you’re able to successfully imagine your life 1000’s of years ago…
Congratulations!
What is the biggest difference between your present life and the one you just imagined a few minutes ago?
My answer would be….TECHNOLOGY.
I was totally fascinated by the impact of engineering/technology in our life which we take for granted today. You’d also empathize with me, if you can genuinely imagine as I said earlier. Anyways, Let’s not get into a debate whether Tech is good or bad.
Instead, here’s what I’ve done with that imagination.
I’ve written a small poem which I feel like sharing with the World!
Engineering is everywhere;
From flying kites,
To riding bikes;
From manufacturing hardware,
To coding software;
From electric vehicles,
To fancy bicycles;
From heavy machinery,
To beautiful scenery;
From using the database,
To predicting the horse race;
From producing power using solar cells,
To curing diseases in human cells;
Engineering is everywhere,
Just like our breathing air!
